BMW R100 scrambler

Here are the pics of our latest custom motorcycle. Once again, it’s a scrambler as this is the kind of bike I like riding.

This « Black Eleven » used to be a R100GS-PD. A 1989 model. The engine has been restored and has plenty of torque, added that the bike has lost almost 60kg (only 189 kg wet).

19″ front wheel and 18″ rear with Firestone ANR tires. The R1150 front brake system is powerfull.

A 1970 R75/5 toaster tank has been chosen.

The frame rear loop is custom made with shortened shock absorber. The seat is also custom made with black leather from the tannery Carriat, provider for Hermès and Vuitton.

More custom parts with the stainless exhaust line and one-of-a-kind intake manifold. Special care has been given to reduce the number of visible cables, wires and pipes.

Latest modifications (25/04/15)

– full electrical system rebuilt
– new tank paint
– carbs carbon fiber intake pipes
– bead blasted engine
– new engine rings and seals
– full engine check and set up
The bike goes perfect.
Here’s some pics.
