Futur projects

Summer is coming to an end. It is now time to start new projects.

At the back of the workshop, some bikes need some work to recover their splendor.

We have a 1972 BMW R60/5. It remained 30 years in a barn and needs a lot of work.

I like its slim fuel tank, its headlight with integrated instruments, its spoke wheels. A very good bike to make a… I still don’t know what I’ll do with it.

There is also a 1976 Yamaha XS650. It’s been my daily-ride for 4 years. I love that bike as it is really smooth and easy.

At the deep end of the workshop is a complete dismantled BMW R100GS; a 1992 model with only 40 000 km. Almost new! The fork and frame have been bent in an accident. I love that bike for its high torque engine. A great pleasure in tight curves.

So, here are the futur projects. It is probable that I will make a scrambler with the R60/5, a flat tracker with the XS650 and a cafe racer with the R100GS. Wait and see.

The brain storming has started.
